About IndyGeek
IndyGeek.net was created as a way to serve the latest in technology news to both geeks and non-techies alike by using a mix of social media, blogging and in-person networking. We place emphasis on the end user and small businesses looking to gain an edge in the ever-competitive mid-west market. The site launched on October 31, 2009.
Meet our staff
John Fox (@techyuppie) – John is the Editor-In-Chief and manages day-to-day operations of the site. He manages the writing staff of 5 that brings you the best in tech journalism. John is also the managing partner of New Media Designs, LLP – IndyGeek’s parent company.
Alex Conner (@gk4r) – Alex, the true geek that he is, manages the back end of IndyGeek. Designing, coding and implementing – he does it all. By day, he is the owner and operator of Geekery4Rent, Indianapolis’ premier geek-for-hire firm managing IT for small and medium businesses.
